Famed Nigerian entertainer Real Warri
Pikin will be
bringing her flagship comedy show to
the Labadi Beach
Hotel in Accra on 16th
October.
Christened Real Warri Pikin Unfiltered, the event is the brainchild of RWP Entertainment & One Percent International and is being held in partnership with 3Media Networks. Now in its sixth edition, it unfolds as an exciting blend of comedy and music, among other entertainment forms.
Organizers say patrons can expect
an unforgettable fun-packed night, with
a supporting cast of
Ghanaian and Nigerian
comedians including OB Amponsah, DKB, Pararan, Young Chief,
Mavi,
Onomski, Comedian Waris, Zigabella, Royal and
Small Pitah.
Music performers programmed for the
event are Camidoh, Gyakie, Harry Song,
Victor AD and Erigga.
Speaking at a press
conference on 9th September, Real Warri Pikin (born
Anita Alaire Afoke Asuoha) said she was
optimistic the Ghana edition
will turn out
better than all previous
editions. "You
shall never have a better yesterday. Ghana has to be better!"
"If you have a product that sells itself as well, it makes life easier for you," One Percent International CEO Stephanie Nnadi added. "It's not a market that you have to kill yourself to sell. Real Warri Pikin sells herself because she's a great talent."
